Opening Ceremony

The High-level Summit is opened by Dr Toshihiro Fujita, Chair of the Global Initiative for Safety, Health and Well-being at the EXPO 2025 and Beyond (GISHW).

High-level Summit Roundtable

Senior representatives from the leading International Organisations such as the ILO, WHO, ISSA and European Commission and the Government of Japan exchange at the impressive EXPO Hall with Business Leaders from renowned corporations about the importance of a safe, healthy and sustainable business culture for a ‘future society for our lives’.

Three exciting Summit events will take place at the impressive EXPO Hall:
1. OSH-Leader Roundtable
Heads of international safety and health organisations and OSH-managers exchange about the critical role of leadership for achieving “Safety, Health and Well-being for All"
2. Plenary of World Assembly of Safety, Health and Well-being Professionals
The conclusions reached at 8 World Assembly workshops on the first of the GISHW-Days will be presented in the format of a roadmap and a declaration about the role of the safety, health, and wellbeing professionals in ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’
3. Closing of the Summit & Bridge to the next World Expo 2030 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Summit will be closed by the Chairperson of the GISHW. It is hoped that a bridge can be established to the next World Expo in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in 2030, whose theme “The Era of Change: Together for a Foresighted Tomorrow”, fully aligns with the objectives of the GISHW.
